Class Ten
Students continue animating and start final renders. Another animatic is created to check the completed animation so far, and the soundtrack is re-synced again to accommodate shot changes. After that, post production and final editing are left. The final animation will be up next week around Wednesday.
Class Nine
Students continue finalizing animation and start post production. Two more animatics are also created. One composed of stills for each shot is used to check the color scheme, and the other composed of playblasts is used to critique the actual animation.
Class Eight
Students continue working on animation. Playblasts of preliminary animation are put together for another animatic, and audio is re-synced.
Class Seven
Rigging and blend shapes are completed. The soundtrack is nearly complete and synced with the animatic. Students continue working on lighting, effects, and camera animation. Main character animation starts. The title shot is ready for render, and other sequences are ready for test render.
Class Six
Texturing is completed. Students continue working on rigging, blend shapes, lighting, effects, and finalizing camera animation. Animation for minor characters is finished.
Class Five
Models are completed. Students continue working on texturing and rigging. Lighting and effects are assigned. Camera animation and shots are started.
Class Four
Matte paintings and most models are completed. Students continue working on textures and begin rigging. The final soundtrack is started.
Class Three
Final shot list and 2D animatic are reviewed. A rough 3D animatic is also created for quick visualization and camera placement. Completed models are assigned for texturing.
Class Two
The official work calendar, shot list, and 2D animatic are finalized. Additional concept art is reviewed and finalized. Students are assigned for modeling, concept art, and matte paintings.
Class One
All the artwork and animatics are reviewed, and the class democratically chooses their favorite by Micah Meador. Micah becomes the official director of the project and some Technical Directors are assigned for each sequence.
Class Zero
Each student must produce an idea for the class to work on and include concept art, 2D animatic, complete shot list, and work calendar.

The final animation is completed!
Students also turn in a personal reel showcasing the work they have done on the project.
According to the instructor, our short animation is one of the best team production projects at The Art Institute of Houston.
